Yep, I do love sewing for my girls.
I always try to sew things I know they will wear more than once. I think we don't have a clearly identified style and I usually don't follow to the letter the last trends (even for sewing patterns).
I just keep making things that gets lots of wears and it makes me happy.

These are 3 things my 3 years old girl happily wears.

This is the Lighting button-front hoodie from Ottobre Design Magazine (Autumn 4/2016). I added the inseam pockets and jersey snaps instead buttons and buttonholes as proposed in the original design. I have hard times with my sewing machine making buttonholes on sweatshirt fabric or thick materials.
The little rainbow star patch is from Patchitnow. Tania makes super cute patches, they are very easy to attach and last for long. Her illustrations are super cute. I got some and iron on my kids' clothes because they like to have "drawings" on them and keep asking for a "drawing on my tee!"
The sweatpants are my design. I made them for the shop but run out of fabric so now they are out of stock. I wanted to make "fitted but not too fitted"sweatpants with fun pockets.

From the picture above you can see the not very much accurate seams from the back to front. The real thing is I recycled one of my own sweatshirts for making this one and wanted to keep the original seams, I did for the front cuts but for the back the Lighting hoodie has a facing for following the curve line hem. I could keep the facing lower... I just wasn't thinking and cut it as in the pattern said so we have this not so pretty gap within the front and back seams. 3 year old girl doesn't care ;)

Here the pants and the pockets.
Ecco i pantaloni e le sue tasche.

Both, hoodie and pants were made for the past winter.

As we are moving forward to warmer days I came out with a couple of dresses. This is one of them.
I hacked one of the collar shirts from the Intemporels pour bébés vol 2.
There is something similar in the Nouveaux Intemporels pour enfants book too.
I was inspired by the Lucy dress from the Peanuts (haha... seriously). I wasn't very accurate and skipped some details but what I wanted was that loose look when you look Lucy from profile.

I also had some 7 years old size sewing stuff for my eldest girl. I'll leave it for the next time ;)
